Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-05This page is being reviewed and may change before the public launch.
In short: WDX streams between your own devices. We do not run servers that receive your screen, camera, audio or files, and the apps contain no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Who we are
WDX is made by WDX LABS (Hộ kinh doanh WDX LABS), Vietnam. For any privacy question, email support@wdxapp.com.
What stays on your devices
- Screen, camera, microphone and audio streams travel directly between your PC and your Android device over a USB cable, your local network or Wi-Fi Direct. They are never sent to us. Recordings are saved only where you choose.
- Pairing data — device names, device IDs and the cryptographic keys used to recognise your paired devices — is stored on those devices.
- Settings and logs are stored locally. Diagnostic logs stay on your device unless you decide to send them to us.
Android permissions
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Camera, microphone | Use your phone as a webcam or microphone for your PC — only while you turn that on. |
| Nearby devices, Bluetooth, location | Find your PC and set up Wi-Fi Direct. Android requires these for scanning; WDX does not record your location. |
| Notifications, foreground service | Keep streaming while the app is in the background and show that it is running. |
| Modify system settings | Change the screen brightness from your PC when you ask it to. |
| Network access | Connect to your PC and to Google Play. |
Google account and purchases
Signing in with Google is optional. It is used when you start a free trial or buy WDX, so your licence follows your account. Google then shares your account ID, email address and name with the app, which keeps them on your device. Payments are handled entirely by Google Play: we see whether a purchase is active, never your payment details. Google's own Privacy Policy applies to those services.
Google Play may also collect crash and performance data from the Android app under Google's policies; we may see these reports in aggregate.
This website
wdxapp.com and the download files are served by Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites. Cloudflare processes IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we keep the conversation (hosted on Google Workspace) so we can reply.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal data. The only service providers involved are Google (Play, Sign-In, email) and Cloudflare (website), each under their own privacy terms.
Your choices and rights
- Sign out of Google in the app at any time; clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes what it stored on that device.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (for example our email conversations) at support@wdxapp.com.
Children
WDX is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above.
