Getting started
- Install WDX for Windows from the Download page.
- Install WDX for Android from Google Play.
- Open both apps. On the PC, type the 6-digit code shown on the tablet. Next time they reconnect on their own.
Connections
- Wi-Fi — keep the PC and the tablet on the same network. When Windows asks, allow WDX on private networks.
- Wi-Fi Direct — needs Wi-Fi turned on on both devices; no router required.
- USB — use a cable that carries data, not a charge-only cable.
Troubleshooting
- Windows shows a SmartScreen warning — click “More info” → “Run anyway”. See the Download page for details.
- The app stops in the background (OPPO, Xiaomi, vivo…) — allow background activity for WDX in the phone’s battery settings.
